When BornFiber asks the subscriber to provide the subscriber's personal data available to BornFiber, BornFiber informs about which of the subscriber’s data BornFiber processes and for which purpose. The subscriber receives information about this at the time of collection of the subscriber's personal data.
BornFiber collects and processes personal information about the subscriber and other users in the household in accordance with the data protection legislation currently in force. BornFiber handles information about the subscriber (name, address, telephone number, e-mail address) and IP address, usage and billing data, data on the number of connected clients, signal strength, time usage, subscriber's media usage on the TV box and on the web TV service TV, VOD material etc.). BornFiber also processes the subscriber's statements and shared data on BornFiber's publicly available social platforms. Storage and processing of such data is also in accordance with the platform vendor's privacy policy.
BornFiber collects and processes personal data for the purpose of delivering the agreed products, making correct billing of the subscriber's services, providing support and instructions to the subscriber, identifying possible product improvements, product customization, and content recommendations based on the subscriber's media usage, to adhere to reporting obligations in relation to program and content providers and compliance with the rules in the logging directive and marketing purposes.
BornFiber collects and processes personal information; in order to fulfill the subscription agreement, cf. the Personal Data Regulation article 6 (1) litra (b), cf. section 6 (1) of the Data Protection Act. 1; in order to comply with legal obligations, cf. the Personal Data Regulation article 6 (1) litra (c), cf. section 6 (1) of the Data Protection Act. 1; in BornFiber's legitimate interest, cf. the Personal Data Regulation article 6 (1) litra (f), cf. section 6 (1) of the Data Protection Act with the purpose of being able to inform about relevant products and services, as well as developing and improving products and services based on media usage and providing support and instructions in relation to products and services.
BornFiber only processes data about you that is relevant and sufficient in relation to the purposes defined above. This purpose is crucial to what type of data about you is relevant to us. The same applies to the amount of personal data BornFiber collects. For example, BornFiber does not collect more data than those that BornFiber needs for the specific purpose.
BornFiber collects, processes and stores only the personal data necessary to fulfill our intended purposes. In addition, legislation may determine what type of data is required to collect and store for our business operations - for example, BornFiber collects personal information that is necessary at all times for compliance with the rules of the logging directive or other equivalent legislation.
Failure to process personal data can prevent compliance with a legal obligation that BornFiber is subject to, prevent fulfillment of a contract or the ability to perform services as required regarding the subscription agreement. Failure to process personal data may mean that BornFiber cannot provide products and services to the subscriber.
BornFiber verifies that the personal data BornFiber processes about you is not incorrect or misleading. BornFiber also ensures that the subscriber's personal data is continuously updated.
As our service is dependent on the subscriber's data being correct and updated, BornFiber asks the subscriber to provide us with information about relevant changes in the subscriber's data. The subscriber can use the contact details above to notify us of the subscriber's changes.
BornFiber deletes the subscriber's personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose of our collection, processing and storage of the subscriber's data.
For personal data covered by the Danish Bookkeeping Act, BornFiber stores these for a period of 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the personal data relate.
For personal data not covered by the Danish Bookkeeping Act, BornFiber stores these for a period of maximum 3 years from the termination of the subscription agreement in accordance with the general limitation periods, cf. section 3 (1) of the Limitation Act.
BornFiber will obtain your consent before BornFiber handles the subscriber's personal data for the purposes described above unless BornFiber has a legal basis for obtaining them. BornFiber discloses such a basis and on BornFiber's legitimate interest in processing the subscriber's personal data.
Consent is voluntary and the subscriber can withdraw it at any time by contacting BornFiber. Use the contact information above if the subscriber wishes further information. If the subscriber is under 18 years of age, BornFiber always receives consent from a custodian holder in addition to the subscriber’s consent before BornFiber processes the subscriber's personal data as described above.
Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties, including courts and authorities, if disclosure is required by law, if a court order has been obtained for disclosure of the information in question, in the case of directory information, or if the subscriber has explicitly consented to the disclosure.
As part of fulfillment of the subscription agreement, in accordance with data protection legislation, BornFiber discloses or transfers personal data to Waoo for customer creation, billing, analysis purposes, delivery of products and services and technical support on behalf of BornFiber, as well as to other relevant business partners in the form of content providers, system vendors, sales partners, analysis companies, technical subcontractors and authorities.
In order to create users and manage any third-party services that are included in the subscription or may be purchased through BornFiber, BornFiber, in accordance with data protection legislation, passes personal information to the third party operating the individual third-party services.
BornFiber has enacted internal rules on information security that contain instructions and measures that protect the subscriber's personal data from being destroyed, lost or modified, from unauthorized disclosure, and against unauthorized access or knowledge of them.

The subscriber's rights include the right to:
gain insight into the personal data processed concerning the subscriber, as well as additional information
have personal information deleted before the time of our general deletion occurs
in certain cases, the subscriber is entitled to limit their personal data. BornFiber may subsequently only process personal data other than storage with the consent of the subscriber or for the purpose of determining, enforcing or defending legal requirements or protecting a person or important social interests
in certain cases, object to BornFiber's legal treatment of the subscriber's personal data
in certain cases, to receive the subscriber's personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer such personal data from one data controller to another without hindrance.
If the subscriber thinks that the personal data BornFiber is processing about them is inaccurate, the subscriber has the right to have them corrected. The subscriber can contact BornFiber, and inform BornFiber of the inaccuracies and how to correct them.
The subscriber is entitled at any time to withdraw his consent. This can be done by contacting BornFiber with the contact details above. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of processing personal data in the light of your prior consent and until the date of withdrawal. Therefore, if the subscriber withdraws their consent, it will only take effect from this point in time.
When the subscriber requests a request to correct or delete the subscriber's personal data, we will investigate whether the conditions are met and, in that case, make changes or deletions as soon as possible.
The subscriber has the right to object to our processing of the subscriber's personal data. The subscriber can use the contact information above to send an objection. If the subscriber's objection is justified, BornFiber will discontinue the processing of the subscriber's personal data.
